Ananya S. Guha (born 1957) lives in Shillong, a town in the North Eastern part of India. He holds a Phd degree on Modern Fiction. After having been a teacher in St. Edmund’s College Shillong, he is now one of the Joint Directors of the Indira Gandhi National Open University. He has four collections of poetry in English and his poems have been published in journals in India and abroad.

He is a freelance writer and broadcaster, and has written for newspapers, magazines and literary as well as academic journals on a variety of topics. He is also researching and writing articles in the areas of Distance Education and Corporate Social Responsibility, and is on various international editorial boards; organizing committees regarding these spheres of academic activity.

However as poetry continues to ‘ haunt’ him he is consistently ‘at it’ and plans to launch his fifth publication soon.
