The Sea that Dreams

In the dream of the sea
  there are no fishes,
  no shells,
  no watery animals,
  neither ships nor lifebuoys.
The waking and sleeping of the waves are not there.
No rivers, not even their happiness.

The sea dreams of the land,
  on which climb the mountains,
  the trees and the birds--
all that the rivers have left behind.

In his dream
  there is no water.
