Zen Oleary is poet, painter and photographer who has also written for newspapers and the non-profit sector.  Her poems have appeared most recently in "Earth First Journal", "Las Cruces Poets and Writers Magazine" and in a variety of online journals and anthologies including: "Palabras Press Newsletter", "Cosmic Wind", a poetry anthology;  "Pale Forest", a Dutch anthology of contemporary poetry;  "Nonduality Salon Highlights", a journal of art and spirit;  "Lotus in the Mud", a Buddhist blog from the United Kingdom; the "California Association for Environmental and Outdoor Education" journal; and the "Rivendell Writers' Guild Gazette" among others.  She is a member of "Warrior Poets", a consortium of poets writing eco-poetry. 

In addition, she is also interested anthropology and archaeology and this is reflected in some of her poems, e.g., "Necropolis" and "Lascaux" both of which are one in a series of themed poems.
