Australian writer Liz Hall-Downs writes poetry, fiction, book reviews and essays and works as a freelance writer and editor. She also teaches creative writing in the educational, health and community arts sectors, and has recently done project-based writing on Brisbane's history, homelessness, the environment, and ecologically sustainable lifestyles. She has a BA in Professional Writing and Literature and an MA in Creative Writing. She has lived with Rheumatoid Arthritis for 24 years and has a particular interest in the rights of the disabled.
