Sugar & Spice
Sugar and spice and everything nice
That is what they said little girls were
Were made of,
But boy were they lying
We all began crying when we found out
There was a whole lot more to the curves
And their way of thinking
I was thinking about the first time I ever
Touched you, the first time I ever tasted you.
The first time I ever entered your world.
You probably thought I was going to say
Something else,
I would have, but then you would have said
That I was trying to say something with a
Sexual meaning
Yes, I would have alluded to that
And the player haters will say,
Man this cat is just trying to get in the drawers.
But that's not altogether true.
I just remember about sugar and spice
And everything nice about you
The way you spoke to me.
The way you led me to believe
You loved me
Yet you only used your juices
And aroma to entice me
Once you had me in your grip
You let it slip, that you weren't made of
Sugar and spice
You were made of from a totally different
kind of chemical.
One that I believe was hormonal
And yes you had the hormones to prove it.
Now I am reminded that little girls
Grow up to be big girls
And the sugar and spice
Is only nice,
When you treat her like a woman
When you treat her with respect
When you tell her the truth
That she still turns you on.
That you won't cheat on her
That you love here with all your heart,
And soul
Yes I do remember that sugar and spice
Weren't the condiments
They were a code of ethics
That we as men would blow all the time
Well then what are little boys made of.
Other little boys,
That seldom grows up to be men
The romantics are hated
The lovers are sedated
The real men are berated
But every once in a while
The sugar and spice
Mixed with everything nice of a man
Makes one hell of a combination
And some drip, dip, slip, trip,
Sensual flip and an exhaustible
Exchanging of the lip
In places we dare not speak about
̉ManÓ I tell you
Sugar and spice is all I will ever need to know.
