Marina Taitt has been associated with theatre and the arts in the Caribbean for many years.  She was born in Guyana and has lived and worked in several regional countries, including Barbados, Jamaica, St. Lucia and Trinidad & Tobago.  She is a graduate of the Jamaica School of Drama (Theatre Arts – Directing & Acting, Drama in Education), is a trained teacher, and has extensive experience as a theatre practitioner and educator in the region.   Marina works part of the time on the website caribarts.org, which she launched in 2003 as an online home for the arts and culture of the Caribbean.  She writes mostly poems and some prose.
