J. C. Todd has poems in American Poetry Review, The Paris Review, Prairie Schooner and on Verse Daily.  Her most recent chapbook is Nightshade (2000).  Awards include a  fellowship from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, two Leeway Foundation awards.  She has been a scholar at the Kuntslerhaus at Schloss Wiepersdorf in Germany and The Baltic Center for Writers and Translators in Visby, Sweden.  An associate editor of the international poetry web-magazine, The Drunken Boat, she is editor of features on Latvian and Lithuanian contemporary poetry in translation.  She is a Visiting Lecturer in Creative Writing at Bryn Mawr College.
