Quiet is my Longing
I miss your smile
And radiant eyes
I saw before we parted
Last night
Your hands casually
Waving goodbye
As if knowing
They will embrace me
Once again tonight
I miss them
With tender heart
And inner sigh
Quiet is my longing
In its quest for you
Like the dormant moon
In the midst of day
Knowing I will see you
In the wake of sunset
As ever in its stead
The moon will too
