The Iranian born poet and essayist, Dr. Mandana Zandian is the author of three books of poetry Blue Sight (2000), The Labyrinth of Silence (2003), The State of  Red (2006) as well as many articles in social issues.  Today she does research in the field of Pediatrics- Neonatology at Cedars- Sinai Medical center in Los Angeles, California.
