Daniel Y. Harris, M.Div, Adjunct Faculty of Holocaust and Genocide Studies at Sonoma State University, holds a Master of Arts in Divinity from The University of Chicago, where he specialized in Jewish theology and comparative religion and wrote his dissertation on The Zohar. Daniel is the co-founder of The Sparks Project (2001) and Sitrahahra.com (2006). His poetry chapbook, Unio Mystica (2007), will be published by Cross-Cultural Communications. His recent publication credits include: Zeek, The Pedestal Magazine, Exquisite Corpse, In Posse Review, Mad Hatters' Review, Sein und Werden, Poetry Salzburg Review, Poetry Magazine.com, Convergence, The Other Voices International Project, The Denver Quarterly, and The Vienna Peace Summit Catalog of The Society of Founders of the International Peace University. The Jewish Community Library of San Francisco, Market Street Gallery, The Euphrat Museum, The Center for Visual Arts and Dolly Fiterman Fine Arts are among his art exhibition credits. He has held executive administration positions in the nonprofit sector for six years as well as academic positions at UC Berkeley and Lehrhaus Judaica.
