I am a 28 year old Native American Poet from Santa Ana (Tamaya) and San Felipe (Katishtya) Pueblos in New Mexico. I am currently working an internship with Jimmy Santiago Baca. I am also working on revising a manuscript for a book of poetry. I began writing seriously while incarcerated in a Federal Prison a back in 2003-2004. I grew up back and forth between my two reservations and the city of Albuquerque. My greatest inspiration for writing has been the people from home. I reside on the Santa Ana reservation.
