The Drama of Living
When the city came to visit
We welcomed it like a breeze
Not only with open arms but with dainty signals
Sounds lifting from flat black patches of ice
Heading into the stars the atmosphere stratosphere
Whatever we call space
Somewhere between the milky twilight
And the incessant drama of living
Atoms happy as June Bugs
Pulsating fireflies
Are out there Up there All around us
Coming away
Powering the phantom
Absorbed and glowering
With the voltage of a high performance
