Born in 1952, Jean-Michel Maulpoix teaches modern French literature at the University Paris X Nanterre (France). He has published some twenty titles, poetic texts, critical essays and miscellanies. They have a common aim: the elucidation of what might be called the poetic. His work more frequently evolves on the frontiers of narrative. His main books are published at "Le Mercure de France" : Une histoire de bleu, L'Ecrivain imaginaire, Domaine public Most recent publications : Du lyrisme (J.Corti) and L'Instinct de ciel (Mercure de France).
