I thought that you had gone,
and we had said farewell.
How surprised I am
to see you again.
What did you forget?
Not your shirts on the rack,
my tears fell on them
as I folded them.
Not the suitcase.
When you filled it,
you turned away from me.
Not your keys,
my heart sank when
you left them on the table.
Not the mirror,
on your way to the door,
I could not even see
how red my eyes were.
