When I said Good-bye

It really happened in,
just a moment.

It was like...
Mountains fell on me,
and skies went away.

Like Nothingness,
replaced the air.
I couldn't breathe.

It was like,
Every dream I'd ever had,
turned to nightmare.
And every ounce of love in me,
turned to pain.

It was as though,
I stepped outside my own soul,
watching in disbelief.

Watching,
a once full of life and love woman,
wither and fall.

It was like,
Sorrow beyond description,
became ... Who I was.
Who I would, forever be.

It was like ... I died too,
Except,
I didn't go to heaven.

It was like ... Hell.

Saying Good-bye, was like Hell.
