I have been writing stories as long as I have been able to hold a pencil.  Poetry, a more subtle way to tell a story, is a joy as it allows manipulation of language.  Telling a tale and painting an image are interchangeable to me as the creator of such, although the effect of either on the viewer/reader is quite different.  I am owned by Sunkist the sun conure; married to my supportive and encouraging soul mate; I am addicted to the high of being creative.  I love to travel, talk to people from all walks of life and I believe that music, poetry, language and food all celebrate the unity of our race and the diversity of our thought.
