Memories

I   Memories;
     Frozen wings of life hanging down on the walls of my mind:
     Seized, resting, still;
     Some starting to flutter in darkness,
     In silence,
     As bats;
     Others when hit by a slit of light,
     Or their own unpredictable will.

II   Memories:
     Untouchable;
     Rulers never questioning their own existence:
     They were born by me.

III  Memories;
     Irreversible:
     Mute witnesses delivering the truth.
