I have been 'retired' from paid employment for 15 years. But still coach high school football. When asked for a bio in the context of football I say I am a poet. In the context of poetry, I say I am a football coach. I have had about 700 letters-to-the-editor and guest columns published over a span of 50 years, nearly all political in nature.
