Mariella Cassar was born in Malta in 1963 and is married with three sons. She has lived on the island of Gozo for over 21 years.  Her work has beenpublished in the UK and USA.  In Gozo hers poetry has appeared in local newspapers and magazines and is included in the booklet Poetry on Gozo - Anthology 1997.  She is the co-founder of Poetry on Gozo which is in the seventh year of its existence
